267 this morning out of bed. Still haven't gotten below 266. Had a nacho bar at my house after the game Friday and weighed 271 when I woke up Sat morning. Weighed 266 after my 4 mile run. I imagine I'll get down some more this week.

266.6 out of bed this morning. Ran yesterday at 430 am. Weighed 271 befor the run. 266.8 after. Had to run that early to get it in as we went to Madison to watch former asst coach to me Derek Shay's Falcons get raped.

266 is the lowest I have weighed out of bed since probably my jr year of HS.

Awesome stuff, HB! I'm still over the 265 I started the year at. I will let you know when/if I get back down to that weight

Thanks wolve. I'm hoping to get to the 255ish range before Thanksgiving.

The real challenge is going to be keeping it off after football. I think the app will help with that. It's probably the main reason I'm where I am. Weighed 267.2 this morning. For me to have only gained .6lbs over a Sunday is amazing considering last year I'd probably be up 6lbs over a weekend.

Can't recommend the myfitnesspal app enough.

Yikes, tipped at 205 today.... too much beer, too many all-night bluegrass jams.... we've just signed up for a Hawaiian cruise with the fam the week after Thxgvg.... back to work!

231 this morning before bowel movement.

230 following.

It was a blue ribbon type of event.

261.2 this morning after running 5 miles. Weighed 262.8 before so I ran a little extra to try to get under 260. Tough day to lose water weight sweating.

Pretty anxious to see the scale have a 25something. Haven't been there since between my soph and jr year of hs.

moxy wrote:I have quietly been going through some weight loss.  I was 217 on July 7.  The most I had ever weighed.  I just got done mowing the yard today and I was 174.2.   The lowest I have been since I was a senior in HS.  Meth is a heckuva drug Laughing

But, seriously I have worked out a lot lately.  Mostly running (ran a 5K in under 19 minutes last week) and crossfit workouts. But, the biggest has been my diet.  I didn't go insanely crazy with any specific thing.  My wife just made healthier food and I lowered my calories.  To a degree, I would say I followed some of the volumetrics diet plan.  I look for food that have grams and calories that are on par with one another. It worked well because I still ate a lot but didn't gain much weight.  I got an app on my phone and started logging my meals and I think that was an eye-opener to just how much crap I actually used to eat.  The log made me be a little more honest with myself.

My goal on July 7 was to be at 175 by the start of wrestling season.  I got there a lot quicker than I wanted.  Now, I am trying to find the balance of eating some of the junky stuff I like and keeping my weight where it is.
I can attest to moxy's loss.  Guy looks super thin.  Might want to eat an entire pizza once and a while.   Laughing Good job.  And good job on sticking your foot directly in the rectum of the ville last night.  cheers cheers

Me- 260.0 yesterday morning after my run.  Very angry that I didn't get to 259, but it will happen.  Consistently weighing 262 every morning.

Well, even though my weight isn't where I want it to be, I must at least look a lot better than I used to. Still got several compliments on my weight loss yesterday at IC Homecoming. Couple that with yet another win over Monmouth and life was pretty good Wink

Good job, HB! You are definitely doing better than me. Unless I have a good last two months here, I'll end the year weighing more than I started it at Embarassed

I'm at 175-180 holding steady. I don't work out as much as I should, but I eat properly now. More veggies and even some meatless meals (sunflower seeds in salads are yummy).

A good example: Was at my FAVORITE Mexican restaurant last night ... again. Last Sunday, I got a steak/chorizo super burrito. This time, because I ate heavy last week and I have a dinner planned at Gibsons this week, I had a ceviche tostada and fish tacos.

Had family down in October, ate terribly, and worse, drank beer ALOT. Got up to 209.

Started back two weeks ago and have dropped 9 pounds to 200. Want to get at least to 185-190 before we take a Hawaiian cruise in December.

I even ran outside 3 miles yesterday. Man, since my dog came down with Lyme disease, I lost my running partner and its hard to get out there.

Been a while since I posted, but weighed 256.8 this morning after my run. 257.8 before. New low for before run, but wasn't a lot of sweat to drop any water weight this morning in the -10 windchill.

Still too embarrassed to post my weight, but I've definitely gotten back into the swing of things and have even started lifting weights again for the first time since July. Hard time of the year to be trying to drop weight, but so far so good.

Good job wolve! Keep it up.

The oddest part of my weight loss this time is it has come with no loss of strength. I'm actually benching and squatting more than I did at 290. Been repping 315 3 sets of 5 on squat and 255 3 sets of 5 on bench. I've also augmented my workout routine to do more-
Mondays- Squat, Incline, some bodybuilding/beach workout stuff (bent over rows, curls, tricep ext), some Crossfit type workout
Tuesday- Run in the AM, total BS lifting- Romanian Dead lift, cable crunches, curls, t bar row, etc
Wed- Squat, Bench, tricep, preacher curls, lat pull downs, pretty intense crossfit workout
Thursday- Run in the AM, more BS bodybuilding type stuff- flat bench cable flys, upright rows, cable woodchoppers, etc
Friday- Crossfit type workout, more messing around bodybuilding stuff
Saturday- Run 4-5 miles
Sunday- Front Squat, push press, some Tabata workout my wife comes up with.

Monday, Wed and Sunday I lift with my wife. She's getting into a pretty nice shape herself. Wink

For some reason I didn't see this until today. I expect more from you guerin. Razz

255.6 again this am. 259 before. Thought I might get lower as I went 4.75 on the run this am and it was warm, but I'll take it heading into Thanksgiving.
