Re: fat man challenge
I made it to 270 at one point and then have fluctuated anywhere between 270-277 or 278 during football season. Closer to 270 now. Fluctuations during the season aren't unusual for me as I'm not as consistent with eating habits. I have jogged three mornings in a row now so hoping to keep that up

Re: fat man challenge
It's been a really long time since I posted in this. Mostly because I was pretty ashamed of what the scale was telling me when I stepped on it. But, here goes-
July 30th we got back from our vacation out west. I weighed 306 that morning. In 2015 I weighed 246 the morning of our 1st round playoff game. Got into lifting big again and by mid 2016 weighed around 265. By 2018 it was up to 280ish. After I left teaching and coaching in the spring of 2019, I ballooned up to 300+. Got back to 285 after the academy and due to working a lot of hours, transitioning to midnights and a terrible diet I got back to 300.
Since August 1 I've been trying to do better. About a month ago I started using the My Fitness Pal app again and eating better. My lifting had picked back up and I feel immensely better. Weight this morning after running was 283. Want to get back to 270.

Re: fat man challenge
I haven't weighed in a while, but we're still biking.... 50-70 miles a week.
Did a 52-miler a couple Saturdays ago. Guy in my group faded out at 30, and he really wants to get a 50 in, so we'll do it Saturday. Rode to Monticello KY yesterday: pure hills, pure hell.
Probably doesn't help that we start and end our ride at the microbrewery outside town.

Re: fat man challenge
Weighed 283 this "morning" when I woke up. Interested to see what the scale says Thursday after I run and before I flush it all down the drain.

Re: fat man challenge
The guy who couldn't finish the 50-miler actually made it last week.... 53 total. Later that week we rode The Gorge in the park, a 13% grade over a mile... pretty tough climb, but he did it.
As our last ride of the year (it's getting to be chilly, highs in the 50's) we rode 34 miles to Kentucky. To get there we had to drop down off the Cumberland Plateau where we live.... then pedal back up.... 2 1/2 miles, all uphill... total elevation change of about 3000 feet.
Still rocking about 185-190 lbs....
