For Friday statewide positivity rate is 3.6% I have noticed in the last few days COVID hospitalizations have increased somewhat.

I report facts from the state directly to our north. Those facts paint a very different picture of the two state's performance relative to how they have handled and are handling the virus from a public health perspective. What I get in reply is a negative vote and a comment attempting to diminish/devalue those facts to "blah, blah, blah."

The state-wide number is being heavily skewed by the mandatory testing at U of I. They test 10,000 people a day, probably 9,975 of them would never even consider being tested normally (symptoms, etc.)

IDPH starting showing the "Region 6" data for Champaign County and then the rest of the region separately. Champaign County 7-day avg is 1.2%. The rest of the region is 7.4%.

I hear its up to each county to decide. Nashville (Davidson) is still restricting. Fentress, my county, never really shut down, except for the nursing home.
