Just a quick search of their donors...here are their top 7...check the hyperlinks for proof.

Gordon Getty - he does donate to Republican groups as well - $1,000,000
Stephen Mandel - $1,000,000
Majority Forward PAC - $700,000
Sixteen Thirty Fund PAC - $300,000
Fran Watson - $300,000
William H. Harris - $600,000
Do It Right Inc - $200.000

This equates to $4.1 million, from donors who prominently support Democratic candidates, wonder why they are donating to a Republican PAC? Explain that one.

https://www.opensecrets.org/political-action-committees-pacs/the-lincoln-project/C00725820/donors/2020

Scroll down the list and you see names such as John Pritzker (JB's brother), who I am sure is a staunch Republican.

I’m on that list way down near the bottom. I have no problem explaining.

Trump had to go.

I was happy to give money to a group of republicans that were trying to pry republicans away from Trump. If I had known I was giving my money to a Republican pedophile, it would have made me think twice.

But the explanation really is...Trump had to go.

But would you have still donated?  Did this group really have that much of an influence on getting Trump out of office anyway?  Seems like his own actions ended his presidency not so much this pedophile who received millions of dollars from Democrats such as yourself.

Luckily it is a Democrat funded group. I can't imagine what cancel culture would do to these donors if this were a Republican funded group. You got lucky there Tee.

Would I have still given anyway? I think I would have. At the time I thought they were making effective ads.

Looking back, they claimed that they would drag the "reasonable" part of the Republican party, that had not vacated the space know as sanity, away from Trump. I think they failed at that. the only thing they were really good at was trolling Trump. It was a waste of my money. And yes, HI it was real American money.

I also gave money to the female democrats running against Susan Collins and Joni Ernst, more money than the Lincoln Project. I threw a lot of money away in the 2020 election cycle.

Luckily all the money I gave to Ossoff and Warnock paid off and I ended up happy.  Very Happy

I've always had a really hard time figuring out why people give wealthy people money to run for a job that makes them wealthier off more of my money.

Really? I give money to candidates that I think can do a good job.....if they are running against candidates that I think are doing a bad job.

Sometimes I'm wrong about the people I give money to, sometimes I'm right.

I have given money to Republicans and Democrats, a few independents, but no crazy people. Some of the people I have supported were not wealthy. I only started giving any real money after my four kids were out of school, married and gainfully employed.

Of course not. But never let a good crisis go to waste.

This is their burning of the Reichstag moment. They now get the opportunity to mold the Republican party as they see fit by getting rid of "the bad ones". Or, go for the jugular and just eliminate it altogether.

No. You understood. First, we don't really know if he is a pedophile...in the stories I have read he sent emails to a 14 year-old boy but those didn't become sexual in nature until after he turned 18. Regardless, the question I answered assumed he was, in fact, a pedophile. I said it would make me think twice, not because he was gay, that was an open secret among Republicans. They all knew he was gay since 1988 according to Rush Limbaugh, but nobody cared, nor should they have (contrary to Limbaugh's thinking).

I would have thought twice because pedophiles are the scum of the earth.

If his skill set would have enabled him to pry clear thinking Republicans from the grip of the worst President in American history, Donald Trump, then the stench I would have smelled from a donation to the cause of a known pedophile who helped to oust Trump would have been worth the result.

Donald Trump had to go.

Which would have affected my life more adversely, four more years of Donald Trump, or knowing a pedophile made a couple of bucks from me knowingly? The former.

So he groomed the 14 year old boy for 4 years. He may not be a pedophile but his intentions seem pretty clear. Completely disgusting you still think it was more of a benefit to give this guy money just to get rid of Trump.

It's going to be a fun six years, Senator Tuberville. Speaking about Q Anon follower and new GOP Rep Marjorie Taylor Greene yesterday he said, "I haven't looked at what all she's done," the freshman senator told CNN's Ted Barrett on Tuesday. "I'd have to hold back a statement on that...[I've] been traveling. This weather's been a little rough. [Didn't] look at any news or whatever."

This from the same Senator who brought you these gems:

“Our government wasn’t set up for one group to have all three branches of government — wasn’t set up that way. You know, the House, the Senate, and the executive.”

and

“I tell people, my dad fought 76 years ago in Europe to free Europe of socialism.”

smh
