Re: Big10 Football
The Wisconsin QB Graham Mertz who carved up Illinois Friday night has tested positive for COVID19. The luckiest people in all this may be the Illinois Defense because I don't recall them ever getting closer than 6 feet of this guy.

Re: Big10 Football
Maybe it's just the fact that college football has been on for several weeks and it was game one for Illinois; but man was I looking forward to watching that game...and man was it disappointing. I thought offensively they were not good at all. I was surprised at how we struggled to run the ball with a veteran OL And defensively I was surprised at how we looked like we were chasing all night long. Reminded me of the Sugar Bowl from a while back against LSU.

I didn't think they would beat Wisconsin but I thought they would be more competitive. Their DLine had a few good moments in the 1st half. Midway through the 3rd quarter they were wearing down. Wisconsin can do that to you, they are great at spotting guys who can be developed into very good linemen and they do an excellent job into developing them.

Playing defense for 32 minutes, especially in game 1 will do that to you.

Yep, an Offense that has very many 3 and outs will kill their Defense. The Illini D wasn't getting much rest.

I'm hearing rumblings that the Wisconsin/Nebraska game this weekend might be canceled because of COVID19. Somewhere Big Ten Commissioner Kevin Warren is smiling.

I think you might be right coach. I just don't see a win on that schedule as of right now. And I see a couple more Wisconsin type games as well.

I just loved the heart-breaking way Minnesota lost. Yes, I can be trite and petty.

I just heard on the radio that 47 or 49 college football games were cancelled or postponed today because of Covid-19 outbreaks.

I never bought the hype they were a preseason top 10 team...but I'm astonished they're as bad as they are. I heard earlier this week Harbaugh and Michigan haven't even discussed an extension yet. That tells me Harbaugh will take an NFL job this offseason, which would avoid the awkwardness of Michigan having to fire him.

Well Michigan just drove 80 yards for a score and now trail 24-14.

Indiana beats Michigan 38-21. First win over Michigan since 1987. Michigan has guys out on the OLine and they just aren't very good up front right now. Their Secondary isn't good right now either. They do a lot of reaching and grabbing, sometimes when it isn't even necessary.

What are the chances Harbaugh is the new Bears coach next year?

No Thanks but the Bears management might be dumb enough to do it. Harbaugh wants an NFL job but I don't think they'll be a lot of teams lining up for his services.

You are right. Only nine or ten today.

I hate it when coaches call TO just as the ball is snapped so that the kicker has to kick again. I'm glad VT got bit in the ass doing that today.

It seems as if it fails to work more often than it works, but it's become accepted practice so people just keep doing it.OSUBucks wrote:Head Idiot wrote:How idiotic does the Virginia Tech coach feel tonight?

The amount of replays in football makes it extremely hard to watch live.

Why can Trevor Lawrence be at the game on the sideline, but not play?
