So Illinois has a chance to finish second?

I think PSU is the 2nd best team in the Conference. Wisconsin, TTUN and Minnesota should all be pretty strong teams. If Illinois wins 5 games they've had a good year. I don't think they'll win 5. OSU plays at PSU this year. It's always their white out game with over 100K fans. There won't be many people there this year, maybe that will help.

For the first time in their 200 year history the University of Michigan has taken and passed a no confidence vote on their President Mark Schlissel. All I can say is Go Blue! Wink

Schedule coming out this morning. Regardless of whether they should or shouldn’t, I’m cautiously excited to watch the Illini. I think they have a chance to very competitive.

Starting 5-0 is a possibility, been a long time since I could say that.

They won't beat both Wisconsin and Nebraska on the road.

The PAC 12 is coming back in November, if anyone cares. I also just heard that the MAC might come back in November for what might be a short 6 game season.

Wyatt Davis and Shaun Wade have been cleared by NCAA to return to OSU. The team is back at full strength. I smell playoffs!

Starting 0-5 is a real possibility if they play like last night moving forward.

I was hard up to watch some college football and watched the whole game. The Illini DBs are bad as well as the QB Peters. They’re in for a long year I’m afraid.

Defense looked terrible, too many broken coverages or mis communication. Wisc WRs were running free and wide open all game.

Peters was terrible throwing the ball and put them into too many 3rd and Longs. To be competitive you have to move the chains on offense and time of possession for ILL was something like 16:00, that is not going to cut it.

I enjoy watching college football. I do not actively follow a team as a fan, but there are a few programs I cheer for because of the guys on the staff I know and like: Miami of Ohio, Army, Utah State, etc.

There is one team I cheer against for the same reason - Minnesota.

Looking at the BIG 10 teams yesterday and Illinois' schedule...any Illinois win might be a big upset.

Bodie's older brother Duece was a Monticello for a few years, not sure if he graduated from Monti or not but I do remember going to my older brothers baseball games and playing football and baseball with Bodie. He was a few years younger than me.

I think Duce moved to Rich South to play for Hud. He finished up his HS career in Evansville, IN. He was a QB at Vanderbilt for a couple of years, but injuries stopped his collegiate football career.

I don't know that I ever told you this, but I and my staff from Shelbyville (me, moxy and their current HC- Duckett) came up to watch your Newton game when you had Reeder. Got there right at KO as it took forever to get our pizza at Filippo's in Monticello. Stood on the west end on that little hill right by the concession stand/garage door for the equipment. Left right after the final gun to go watch another future Shelbyville HC at Tuscola in Stan Wienke.
