gas prices

I work right across the street from the SHG parking lot. During the school year I just go over and siphon the gas out of the student's tanks. Maybe it's the coach's tanks. Summer sucks because there aren't enough cars in the lot to hide my activities.

I have to siphon it out of my wife's gas tank. She thinks her Honda CRV only gets nine miles to the gallon. Gas costs me $0.00 per gallon.

Thorntons on Wabash in Springfield Wednesday - $2.30 (with rewards card)
Thorntons on Mattis and I-72 in Champaign Wednesday - $2.09 (with rewards card)

gas in sterling is $2.07 today (down from $2.19)

10 miles away in Dixon, it's $1.81

1.95 in the patch. got my gas for 1.92. rewards card.

It's been a couple days, but $2.01 last I looked in Keokuk plus I'm up to $.20 off a gallon with Hy-Vee Fuel Saver Card.

Same trip south: Diesel in IL $2.49. $2.36 a block away. $2.16 just across the KY border.

1.99 at Casey's in Lovington on my way back from weights this morning.

jumped back up to $2.19 today in sterling

Prices sort of did the opposite of what I expected in my area...stayed in the $1.90s all weekend...and then went up to $2.15 Wednesday morning.

$2.15 in Waukesha, WI today.

$1.99 in New Orleans this weekend.

In the next 15 days I'm going to Portland OR, Seattle WA, a day trip into western Canada and then Denver and Brekenridge CO.

My wife thinks it's a vacation and a nephew's wedding but I'm only interested in gas prices so that I can update this thread.

No Cru, but Mrs T did not behave like a 59 year old woman with four grown children when we were in Amsterdam last summer.

I'll keep a close eye on her in Colorado. Are Oregon and Washington pot smoking States as well?

Are there any states that aren't really pot states?

I think it's harder for most Americans to get a hold of a vegetable to eat than it is for them to buy weed.

My wife and I took our son (along with a trailer load of furniture for the house he and three of his teammates are going to live in this school year) to OU Tuesday to work at a running camp. Gas at Thorntons on Wabash was $1.99. At a gas station in Moore, Oklahoma I saw from I-35 it was $1.80. All week in Norman, Oklahoma it was $1.85. Today in Sullivan, Missouri it was $2.05 and $2.19 at the Quick and Easy on West Wabash

We ventured to Myrtle Beach and visited family in Columbia, SC. The entire state of SC was under $2, mostly $1.85-1.95. As soon as you hit TN, it was $2.05-2.30 the rest of the way. Kentucky was the highest.

3.19 at the Shell station in downtown Portland, OR.

On the Amtrak up to Seattle yesterday I saw from 2.89 to 2.76 through northern Oregon and southern Washington state.

You can't walk 200 feet in all of downtown Portland without having to step over homeless people on the sidewalks. Nobody says a word about it.

we just returned from Myrtle Beach on Monday. paid 1.88 in MB, 2.09 in Knoxville, and 2.29 in indianapolis

They don't even sell gas in Washington state.

Everyone walks or rides a bike.

$3.20 in Guatemala City last week.

Took a trip to visit my brother the past week. Prices pretty consistently between $2.20 and $2.30 in western Iowa and all the way across Nebraska.

gas was 2.09 wednesday and 2.36 thursday in the patch. 2.18 in jax yesterday.

I left Champaign Thursday and filled up for $2.02 with my rewards card. I got to Springfield and it's $2.49 it's
