Alabama vs the Bears

We know BAMA is better coached, could that be the difference in a matchup?

Bama has better WR group, better QB and OLine possibly better than Bears. Bears D is probably better.

I saw this question posed on Twitter shortly after the end of the game last night.

The only matchup that matters, the Bears have 52 NFL players and Alabama does not, they have maybe 15.

But I have no doubt that Saban and crew would out coach Nagy and his staff.

This link is from 2018 season, but however they came up with it, the closest spread in "Alabama vs the NFL" was 28.5 against the Bills. It's a funny line, but the Bears would destroy Alabama.

I think I would take Bama but it might be a more competitive game. Then again with Nagy and his play it safe offense Bama might just rout them. Bears might have more total NFL players on their roster but in terms of Top 22 on each squad it might be close.

Just to keep arguing though, Saban would definitely out recruit Nagy, remember, he did have a shot at the NFL. .468 winning % (15-17). Nagy is .560 (28-22).
