Posting at start of 4th Quarter:

Oh no,  the Pack have cut it down to 10.  

Time to get a new QB, fire the HC, OC, DC, and start the rebuild.

Call me a pessimist but somehow I think the Bears will end up losing this game.

When the Bears failed to convert that 3rd and 2 with 2:40 left and GB out of TO's and settled for the FG I figured that they'd lose and they did. Two plays before the game winning TD pass one of Rodgers passes hit Fuller right on the numbers. If he catches it the game is over but of course he drops it. So many chances to put the game away but it's just the Bears being the Bears.

Can someone please explain to me why Khalil Mack took 3 pass rush steps, stopped and just randomly dropped into coverage of no one on the Packers' last touchdown pass?

He and the other left side defensive lineman both left when the back flared out.  Had at least one of them stayed on the rush, the blitz from the right probably would have forced Rogers right into their arms.  Since they didn't he was able to step up into the pocket and get the pass off.

But, all we'll hear about that play is how awesome Rogers is...  Frustrating.

I will never know as much about football as you, but as I watch that replay I think its crazy to think one more left side rusher would have "probably" caused a sack. There were two offensive linemen that were unengaged for a few seconds prior to the pass just to Rodgers' right (the left side defense). Those two were available to block those left side rushers.

To my untrained eye it looked to me like Baluga or some GB lineman in front of Mack got out of his stance a count early. Anyone else see that?

Mack was engaged no doubt, but you're paying the guy 20 million dollars to get unblocked. If he continues on the same path, he at least pushes Bulaga into Rogers as he steps to avoid the pressure form the other side. I understand the defense may have a check to cover the back with a DL, but I guarantee they don't send 2. I would wager in that situation you want your hired gun making his money by taking out their MVP, not covering some third down back in the flat.

I wonder how much of Mack being a new guy and not knowing the checks in and out played on that play. I also wondered if he reverted to what he had been possibly trained at Oakland. One of those guys was wrong though.
