Re: Big10 Football
I hate to say it, but I wonder if this year's Ohio St. was sort of like the Lebron Miami Heat: all they really had to do was show up for the B10 games and they knew it so it effected their play and then now they're turning it up when they need to. Granted, those Heat teams didn't have an NBA equivalent of 'Bama waiting for them at the end.

That and I'll agree that NW probably better than I gave them credit for.

Herman is out at Texas. I wonder if the pee color chart played a role.

Tom Herman fired...makes you wonder if there was something to Urban Meyer's visit afterall. ESPN also just stated the "frontrunner" is Steve Sarkisian.

Yep, Saban might not be too happy about losing his OC. I imagine Sarkisian will stay on until after the National Championship game.

Personally, I think Sarkisian would be crazy to leave Tuscaloosa. He’s got a great gig there. Decent ‘turning your life around’ story nonetheless.

Re: Big10 Football
This is the targeting play in which Joey Bosa was ejected a few years ago against ND. I do wish that the rule could be modified. The impact on Fields was much greater than on this play.

It is a simple rule, See what you are hitting. It was the correct call

Yep, under the current rules you are ejected. It's also potentially dangerous to the tackler. See Ryan Shazier.

Hearing the Harbaugh extension is close at hand, possibly extended thru 2026.

Could TAM beat Sally N D? It would be awesome if they could at a game next week.

What would be the point of that? To decide who the 3rd or 4th best team in college football is?dusty7 wrote:Could TAM beat Sally N D? It would be awesome if they could at a game next week.

Would be a fun yet meaningless game. I just like seeing Sally N D lose.

Totally agree with that not being a roughing the passer call.

Well the Jacksonville Jaguars are serious about signing Meyer. My opinion has been that Meyer will never coach again. He still has that cyst on his brain. What the Jags are offering would make Meyer the highest paid coach in the game and I'm told that Meyer is giving it serious thought.

I hope both him and Bielema find success at Illinois. I think regular 6-7 win seasons and bowl game invitations would be considered a success story for Illinois.

I know all college football players were granted an extra year of eligibility because of covid19.
