Now the Supreme Court is about to rule on one party rule. Five of the six republicans on the Supreme Court were nominated by presidents who received fewer votes than their opponent and I think the SC judges like that system. Now they can put state legislatures in charge of picking the winners in any federal elections in their states...not the majority of the voters.

I agree with Tee here. In practically every civilized country in the world the candidate with the most votes is elected President. I think the founding fathers did a very good job overall but they blew it with the electoral college. Whoever gets the most votes should be the winner. Simple concept.
