Metamora 7th graders are playing for a State Basketball Championship right now. (Up 29-10 @ half)
Metamora 8th graders are playing in the State Basketball Quarterfinals on Saturday.
Metamora High is currently ranked #1 in the IHSA 3A Basketball poll.
What the #€LL is happening to my football town?

I think Illinois as a state is much more a basketball and soccer breeding ground than football.
It was only a matter of time before the athletes that Metamora produces became basketball centric.
