Riverdale Rams cancel varsity season.
They used to be in the Three Rivers. Is that still a conference?

There is still a three rivers conference. I think they are farther West than Riverdale. Too bad for those kids that wanted to play football.

I heard from a Coach in the HOIC that this in indeed true and let the other schools know last week. Leroy and Morrison have already agreed to a week 8 game vs each other to fill the gap in their schedules.

got a text from another member here saying urbana has folded their season. almost 1200 kids. with?

i guess most of us in the nursing home will be saying, 'do you remember when we played 11 man football?'

Well Riverdale, Fisher, Sandwich and Urbana could play a home and home series against each other and get 6 games in for those upper classmen

I can understand Fisher and even Riverdale not fielding a team, but Sandwich and Urbana not having Varsity football is just plain sad.
