Here is my take. Climate Change is a major crisis and here is why:

1. It is real and immediate action is needed, (or)
2. It is fake and we have people willing to destroy the planet to “save it”

Last night on 60 Minutes they had a piece on a Russian climatologist who's been talking about climate change for over 30-40 years and was previously dismissed as a cook. Until all of his predictions started to play out.

Anyway, his thought on how to stop, or slow down climate change and particularly carbon release in the permafrost is to cut down trees and reintroduce species of animals that once grazed those areas. Including Wooly Mammoths. According to him, trees trap heat in the ground and make it easier for the permafrost to thaw and release more carbon. If you can eliminate trees in those areas, it will keep them cooler and slow the climate issues, if not reverse them. He's already trying it by reintroducing horses, bison and I think yaks and cutting down trees. It has apparently had some results in the areas they've done it in.

While vaccines are generally pretty effective, depending on the vaccine, somewhere between 1-5 % of those who are vaccinated fail to develop immunity.
When enough people are vaccinated against a certain disease the germs can't travel as easily from person to person and the entire community is less likely to get the disease. While a certain disease may just make you and me feel miserable for a few days for those who have weakened immune systems the consequences can be much worse.
It's just smart for everyone to get vaccinated. Last Winter the flu vaccine wasn't as effective as it normally is. It was one of the worst flu epidemic years we've had in a long time. My mom was hospitalized at Memorial in Springfield for several days before being released. Some elderly weren't so fortunate and didn't survive. Memorial was actually having to turn away some patients because they ran out of beds. Certainly the situation wouldn't have been so bad if everyone would have been vaccinated.

I guess I could see that. There seems to be a lot of effort being put in to protecting 1-5% of the population.

Doesn't surprise me at all but I know a lot of folks who think he's the greatest President ever and just swear by the guy. I actually agree with him on a few issues but as a person I don't care for him at all.
