PLAY-OFF Scores that surprised me
A few scores I did not see coming:
Paris 17 - Mt. Zion 6 I know Mt. Zion was plagued by injuries in the second half of the season, but I still expected them to win.
Morgan Park 50 - Peoria 42 I don't know much about Morgan Park, but that is an impressive win.
Springfield 94 - Rock Island 72
Any that caught your eye?

st pats was bigger, faster, and stronger. sterling came in to the game with several key players out due to injury. then, their best back was injured in the first qtr and never returned. THEN, his back up went out in the 2nd qtr. this MIGHT have been a good game if sterling was at full strength. might have been.

Watched NFHS online and had the YouTube on also for commentary. NFHS feed was actually pretty good.
Thought you guys had excellent execution all around, and the score was pleasantly surprising. Congrats to you guys.

Re: PLAY-OFF Scores that surprised me
SHG 42 Civic Memorial 7
Rochester 55 Paris 20
I thought before the playoffs started that SHG & Rochester might be on a collision course to play in the Semifinal game in the 4A South bracket. Each team has one more game to win. Rochester should blow out Freeburg. I like SHG at home over a good Breese Central team. A potential SHG/Rochester Semifinal game would be played at Rochester, the same as the regular season game, which was won by Rochester 45-41. Whoever comes out of the South will likely play JCA for the 4A title and probably be the underdog in that game.
