"The Catch": 12 years ago today

One of my all-time favorite baseball memories. I still get chills hearing the crowd roar after they realized DeWayne made the catch. And Buerhle just looking to center field in disbelief. Great call by Hawk and Stoney, too.

This is still my favorite catch of all time. Hamilton's from a few weeks ago is right up there.

Hamilton's catch was great. And he is a really easy guy to root for.
One of the best parts of Wise's catch was that he was a 9th inning defensive replacement. Didn't even have an at-bat in the game.
