Re: wildcard weekend/ncaa picks.......
My Bets will be
Saturday:
Bills -8.5 - they are on a roll
Seahawks -2.5 - I think they could easily roll the Rams because of injuries but don't trust the Seahawks enough
Bucs -6.5 - Washington defense will keep it close but their QB situation is not good, I think the Bucs pull away late
Sunday
Ravens -5.5 - playing really well and are a scary team in the playoffs
Saints +2.5 - I never bet for the Bears to lose but if they win it will be by a late FG.
Steelers -5.5 - I think this game will be closer than many think it will
Monday
Alabama -12.5 - it won't even be a game, I hope it is but Bama is just too much for anyone else in CFB

Re: wildcard weekend/ncaa picks.......
I had to give Tee an up vote for being the only one picking the Buckeyes. While it hasn't been announced publicly Covid19 has hit the team and at least two starters on the defensive line might be out. That won't make things any easier. Alabama is one of the most talented offenses I've seen in college football, 5 All Americans on the offensive side of the ball. Could be a shootout.

This is what it has come to?
Now a fellow long-time Turkster has to apologize to everyone for giving me an upvote?

I'm unapologetic. You are the only one on the right side here. Go Bucks!

Re: wildcard weekend/ncaa picks.......
Rumor has it that Urban Meyer will be the new HC for the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Solid hire for a team I think is a few years away from being competitive. I think they have more cap space than any other team in the NFL.

I think the "players have the power" movement is in stark contrast to Meyer's control-freak persona. I mean, the Texans right now are getting, I think wrongfully, blasted right now for not including Deshaun Watson on their GM search. I can't think of Meyer asking for a player's opinion on anything.

I think a lot of the most successful are control freaks. Saban certainly is as well. Being an assistant to Meyer isn't easy. He grinds people down and he grinds himself down. I might be wrong but I find it kind of hard to believe that he will coach again.

I might be wrong, but I think part of the problem there is that they he was told he was going to be involved and then wasn't. I am guessing the lying to him is the bigger issue than GM.

Just finished watching Ravens/Titans. That was a physical smash mouth game. Ravens getting healthy at the right time.

The Bears don't deserve to win because of how bad their offense is, but there's a good homering going on in New Orleans today as well.

When you have more punts than 1st downs in the 4th quarter you’re probably going to lose. Bears D was very good for 3 quarters. Just worn out in 4th quarter from being on the field so long.

I see that Montgomery got 1 carry in the 2nd half.
Did Nagy take over playcalling again?

Re: wildcard weekend/ncaa picks.......
The talking heads after the game think that Nagy has done enough to keep his job. I don’t think he’s a good NFL coach, average at best. Pagano called a good game today and I think overall he did a pretty good job as DC this year.

Re: wildcard weekend/ncaa picks.......
The problem may not be Navy. I'm okay with him as long as he learned that he needs to coach to the talent rather than coaching to a system.

Re: wildcard weekend/ncaa picks.......
I realize I'm no NFL head coach, but if you're the Cleveland Browns, why the \"f\"ing are you resting starters and playing soft coverages only up 28 pts on the road in the playoffs?
