I feel sorry for Harry in some respects. He is such a good O-line coach. He is being asked to be a chicken salad chef with inferior ingredients.

I agree completely with this. Hiestand leaving the bears screams to me just where their organization is at right now.

Nagy completely strikes me as the kind of guy who gets pissed off he even has to have those "5 fat asses" on the field.

No, but it's probably because she's not "being her" enough.

PS- Idk that in 20 years I ever made more than 4 lesson plans like they teach you in college.

Bernstein is a total a-hole. Giant judgemental hypocrite. But TB was great. Funny, insightful, smart. I was a big "B & B" fan since 2001 or so. But I never realized how much TB carried the show and how much of a twit Bernstein was until TB retired. TB was a great sports writer and great radio personality. Unfortunately, he also killed WSCR when he retired. Only shows I find interesting now are Mully and Haugh in the morning drive and whenever Lawrence Holmes gets a fill-in spot.

I listen quite a bit. But i'm also a driver ed teacher.

I said many times I think Mitch will be better this year. They had 4 winnable games to start the year but have done nothing to address the RB position. They had cap room to make a run at Adrian Peterson to fill the void of Montgomery. Cohen and Patterson are not viable running options. Nagy can not call 50-60 passing plays a game. Things are not looking good right now to start the year.

Bears rally from 23-6 deficit to stun the Lions 27-23. Trubisky had a poor first half but played well in the second half.

It wasn't a pretty win, but a win is a win is a win. Nagy continues to frustrate. Get 9 yards on 2 runs? Call 3 pass plays in a row on the next series.

WTF did the Rams do to their uniforms?

Halfway throught the 4th Qt, the Bears were averaging 5+ yards a carry. Not sure why Mitch needs to throw almost 40 times with that kind of ground game.

No it wasn't. I'm hoping it's something the team and particularly Mitch can build on. He didn't have many starts as a college player and hopefully we'll see a progression from him this year and he can become a consistently solid NFL QB.

All three running backs averaged over 4.9yds a carry.

1. Trubisky looked decent at times today. I don't know that you can put the Ints on him, but I'm sure some will.
2. Montgomery is a stud. GIVE HIM THE DAMN BALL!!
3. Roquan Smith is an animal. I love watching that kid. High motor, always around the ball and NASTY.
4. The defense just turning off at times is going to cost them big at some point.
