Championship Games on YouTube
I was really bored over the past few days and started watching several of the championship games on YouTube. It definitely brings back some great memories from being a kid watching or being at the games along with some of the great performances the athletes.
However, I know I am beating a dead horse here, but he commentators and their information is absolutely terrible. Seriously, I catch myself wondering if they just grabbed these people off of the streets. Now most of the games I watch are small school 1-4A but some of these guys knew nothing.
Some Examples:
State that St. Joseph (SJO) was a private school located in Ogden. Referred to them as St. Joes the whole game.
Said Wilmington ran "the Triple Wing" on more than one occasion. As a coach I find this concept a bit interesting.
On the intro referred to the Tuscola Warriors as the Tuscola Indians. Now this was a pre-produced introduction.
Never put the players number when they list the starters
In the 90's they were extremely bad at having the players announced before the game. It's almost comical as every game there is no sound, or names are listed.
I know this topic as been discussed before but I wish they would find people who knew about the teams talk about the teams. I think it would be cool to get some local sports casters or even the guys who do radio broadcasts to cover the games. I just find it frustrating.

Nobody really cares about 1a through 4a anyway.

My main complaint about the championships on YouTube is they don't have the 1993 Class A dual team wrestling on there. I want to see how terrible I looked after for 3 days before the tournament and losing 23lbs.

I'm just making a little joke based on a personal issue. They have 92 and 94. Besides, how many people actually watch any of these things?
