have you been to eggcellent in ep? it's a diner in the levee district. their food is amazing.

1. They only opened 7/29
2. Live 7 minutes away and have never heard of it. Must not advertise. Now if my brother was still a cop in EP, maybe.

i googled 'breakfast east peoria' and it was the first place mentioned. it was packed and people were coming in non-stop on a friday morning on 7/21. fresh squeezed oj for screwdrivers and their own homemade hot sauce was on every table for bloody mary's or whatever. i put on my omelet and in my tito's bloody mary. the hot sauce was so good i bought two bottles. you need to try it out.

according to the owner, they opened right toward the end of the pandemic. i'll be going back for sure.
