That would be a tough 5-4 draw for sure. 4A is super loaded - glad we are 5A this season.

I think we will get a tough draw with Jacksonville. Coach Grounds is the master of the upset! Definitely one of the best coaches in the game.

Hinsdale Central 6, Glenbard West 0

Today is only the 2nd time Glenbard West has been shut out since Week 6 in 2002. Lincoln-Way East blanked them 45-0 in the '18 2nd round. Hinsdale also shut them out in Week 5 in 2002 (48-0).

Enjoyed my 1st trip to Duchon Field on the shore of Lake Ellyn in Glen Ellyn, a "bucket list" stadium for sure.

If I spelled the head coach's name of Jacksonville incorrectly - I apologize. I don't know him personally, but have admired his program since they smacked us around in the playoffs in '03. I know he occasionally visits the boards or at least he did in the past.

Forreston-LW rematch is set for Round 2 if both teams advance.

Du-Pec finished the season with an 8-1 record which included the program's first-ever NUIC championship. Huge tip of the cap to head coach Tyler Hoffman and the buy-in he has established. It's one of the greatest turnarounds I have ever seen in high school football.

The Rivermen will play Mendota in the first round of the 3a playoffs. If they advance, they will most likely face IC in Round 2.
