What the hell

I just found out Illinois came back from about 24 down to win at Michigan State.

Is it safe to say that Illinois doesn’t suck?

I saw that they were down 28-3 early. After I got home from the SHG game I saw that they were only down by 4 so I saw the ending. Biggest comeback in Illinois history. They are Bowl eligible now and Lovie appears to have saved his job, at least for now.

They will probably beat OSU in the B1G Championship.

Can they sign Kale Brown now? If so, extend Lovie. If not, extend him anyway. No one else will win 6 games!

Really happy for Lovie. For all the crap he's put up with, I'm glad the program seems to have finally taken the turn he said it would. I'm a fan of his, so it's nice they're having some success. It was very nice to see how happy the players were for him. Happy they won? Sure. But they seemed especially happy for him.

Now, if only he were still the Bears HC...

Also glad to see them doing well. This isnt a school that is pulling in 5 Star recruits in bunches like Alabama. It takes years to accumulate quality depth at the Power 5 level. They arent anywhere near where they need to be in that aspect but people still think they should be and that Lovie needed to go as a month ago. If they stay on course and continue to do well in recruiting and ever get a legit QB they will be in pretty good shape.
