While the article says the video shows an attempt of sodomy, I have decent sources that said no insertion or attempt thereof occurred. Source also said all football pads were on the athletes.

So they didn't sodomize the kid with a broomstick. They just scared the kid into thinking he was going to be sodomized with a broomstick. That does not make the story much better.

Yeah, it just seemed not as bad to me because of that. Making someone think that was happening to them is terrible as well. I’m not condoning anything nor do I think the victim is on the wrong. Just based on the information I had, I just didn’t think it was portrayed accurately in the article.

Does anyone blame the victim?

No, not that I know of. I just didn’t want my response to be misconstrued into that line of thinking.

As a result, at least one of the freshman who was involved transferred to Joliet Catholic last week. His sister transferred as well.
