Ripped Jersey?
I have badly torn Jersey. It is over 7 years old. I would prefer not to throw it out since my inventory of matching numbers is not high. We no longer work with the company we originally got it from and the three seamstress places near me said they it couldn't really be fixed since it was not on a seem. Also, I can't sew for shit. Any suggestions or is it a lost cause?

Try a shoe repair shop that may also do alterations. They have the heavy duty machines that are also good for sewing awards on letterjackets with heavy gauge thread. Just stress it doesn't have to be pretty.

So the Grandma of the player in question used some type of thicker cloth material under neath and stitched it together with her sewing machine. Doesn't look great, but made it through the game last night.
