Bradley University vs. PJS reporter

Any of you Central Illinois guys have insight into this? Sounds pretty petty on the part of Bradley.

Wow, so they make the NCAA tournament for the first time since 2006 and they think that gives them leverage with the media. Sounds like the HC has been offended for a while going back to his first season when they only won 5 games all season. We live in a society today in which folks are really thin skinned and want an apology for every little thing.
Letting the media into the locker room in effect shares a special season with the fan base and would have the effect of increasing fan interest and putting more fans in the seats. Carver Arena seats about 11,400. Last season Bradley averaged about 5500 a game. Just a bad move all around for the University. The media is your friend, not your enemy.

I can't totally agree with this. Most are, but quite a few are out to make a career for themselves by getting you to give them a headline or let them pretend they're on ESPN. The good ones are worth their weight in gold, but the bad ones are bad enough to cast a shadow across a lot of the good ones.
