Nope. We relaxed and they upped their intensity and it snowballed

Peoria area people: Were you shocked by the Peoria - Champaign Central score?
I did not see that one coming.

Re: Week Seven Scores
Du-Pec had a big win over East Dubuque last night following their upset of Madison last weekend. It was the first time that the Pecatonica kids recorded back-to-back varsity wins since 2009 (Durand recorded back-to-back wins in 2012)

I would consider it a personal favor if you could relax again next week...?

Not particularly. In week one Metamora won at Champaign 33-7. The next week Metamora beat Rock Island 42-14. Seven days later Rock Island came down and beat Peoria. I know comparing scores is not a 100% accurate way to predict future outcomes but it seemed as they would be evenly matched. I know we are not supposed to discuss recruiting so I will just say that Peoria has not had near the transfers the past couple years as they did when they won state.

Re: Week Seven Scores
I actually do not know if Althoff won or even played. Not going to use any of my free monthly BND pics to check either.
But ESL got hosed on the road.

EPC and West Carroll to finish the 2nd half from Friday night this afternoon in Freeport. EPC is winning 28-6. If EPC goes on to win, that will be West Carroll's 5th loss and they will be knocked out of playoff contention.

For anyone who cares, Althoff lost - now 1-6 with 6-1 Cahokia and Cardinal Ritter left. Cahokia lost to Ritter earlier in the year.

What do you mean "for anyone who cares"? We all care.
I don't like Althoff's chances of meeting Rochester in the playoffs this year.
