5a state title game......

just went to the ih$a website to check st. rita's schedule. every team they played minus one had a winning record. that team was woodstock marian that still completed the season at 4-5.

Rita is very a young team. Qb play has not been consistent but the RB Brown is the second best RB I saw this year next to Irving from Hillcrest. He is only a soph.

I have two guys I grew up with that have players on their team and my cousin has a son on LWE. I am getting old

True, but it's also about who is behind those winning records. Rita played two 8A qualifiers (Loyola and Niles ND) and one 7A qualifier (Benet), and they won two of those three games. Other opponents include traditional private powers like Montini and JCA.

I was the only person from neighborhood that went to MC.

One guy is a Rita grad and the other was a De La Salle guy.
