Eats in Mendota

Post by Horsefeather on Wed Jul 25, 2018 11:31 pm

Bringing the family & some friends over to Mendota next Friday to see a summer musical being performed at MTHS. Keaton has a bunch of friends performing in it. Looking for a family friendly place to eat at before... or an ice cream place to get sugared up for the ride home after. Can anyone out that way give a recommendation? Thanks in advance.

Right off of 39 exit on the north side of Route 34 is a family restaurant called Cindy’s (I think). Really good food there. Salad bar. Easy to get to.

Drive a little farther into town and you have Ziggie’s. Legendary greasy spoon with fried cheeseburger and that kind of stuff. Also easy to get to if you are coming off of 39.

Besides Rips, there is a place west of town Sip 'n Snack. Pretty good as well. They have chicken, fish, tenderloins, burgers, etc.
