Interesting approach for safety of younger players.
Could help "Moms' relax about Football and get more kids back out.

Looks like full contact to me. Without the goal of getting the player to the ground, the focus will be on technique more than "hits". Looks like a nice go-between flag and football. I know I would be more apt to let my son play something like this at an earlier age. He's small for his age, loves football, but he would be on the receiving end of many collisions due to simple physics. So he has yet to play the game. Very little opportunity for flag football in our area.

I like it as an option for folks.

I definitely like it as an option for youth football for sure.

My grade school played full contact Flag Football until the early 1980s but it ended before I was old enough to play.

I just assumed that's what "organized" flag football was.
