Online Football Resources

Post by Ghengis Khan on Mon Nov 13, 2017 4:51 pm

What are your guys favorite online resources for learning football? What twitter accounts? Message boards? etc.

I think meeting with others and talking is the best, but online your time can be used a little more flexibly.

Thanks guys!

X and O labs has some good free stuff and a lot more behind a subscription wall. Others I have talked to have given it very positive reviews.

https://www.xandolabs.com/

$60/ year or $150 for a staff.

Chief pigskin is a streaming video for sale site, but they have some free content.

If you go to Glazier you get free access to some online resources.

Tee's link is probably a lot more interesting, if slightly less informative...

edit: I'll leave it to the younger guys to point you to some twitter feeds.

@MattBowen41

@colecubelic

@coachhargitt (spread RPO guy)

@coachvint

@JamesALight (Defensive guru) - This guy is my favorite. He has a ton of playbooks and uses them with video to explain concepts.  Big Saban/Don Brown guy that can explain what your seeing very well.

As OT said, xandolabs is fantastic. I used it when I coached because of the search feature to help tweak what we might have been doing. You can literally find anything that you might want to learn about. TONS of drills and almost all have video. Well worth the $.

Hargitt won 3 Games one year at Tri Point which is like 12 or 13 for most schools

Wait, this isn't everyone's immediate go to for football coaching resources?

I think I've been doing something wrong.
