That reminds me of the Metamora field in 2001 when SHG showed up to play.

We wondered where the game would be moved....it was played.

I was standing next to Ken Leonard when Pat Ryan told how his brother kept Malone Field in immaculate condition and the field was ok Friday night. The sprinkler system accidentally came on overnight and when they arrived. Saturday morning - the field was flooded. How Ken kept a straight face and didn't go berserk I have no idea. We bought sections of plywood to put on our sideline to keep out of the mud. A friend of mine who coached in the Mid-Illini said that's what they did because every year they played at Metamora their sideline was ankle deep in mud.

Glenbard West playing its second round home game at Glenbard East because Duchon Field is muddy and town up.

Itís a joke between Ging, me, and my AD. Sterling has one of the fastest RBs in the state regardless of class so we are thinking of creative ways to slow him down
